The AIROXY range – “sequential” activated sludge (type “SBR”)- meets ideally the requirements of the collective waste water treatment (from PE 100 to 2000). This range is in fact especially designed to neutralize, thanks to its integrated buffer volume, the inauspicious effects of the continuous load variations (polluted and hydraulic) that characterize the effluent of this kind of population.

We know that this “activated sludge” process consists in air injections into the biological reactor to mix (brew) the waste water and in the meantime to feed with oxygen the bacteria naturally in place into the sludge to treat. This process is used in a very large scale by the public Authorities to treat the urban effluents. The “SBR” process selected and designed for our AIROXY range is a particular “activated sludge” when you imagine that the 3 well known sequences (decantation, aeration and clarification) take place in a single (monolithic) tank
